I finally attended one of the
ETJ-Aichi’s workshops. They run a bimonthly ESL workshop on Sundays which welcomes everybody to come and join in providing you book a seat and fill in a
pre-
registration form first on their website. Thankfully,
s’s and
Lj came along too to lessen the blow of boredom and see
Ruth Barnes from New Zealand introduces how puppets, rhymes and magnetic stories to develop English language skills for children. Although the talk was, in fact, fairly
conventional, I found some parts were quite good. I learnt a few pointers which I can use with my teaching style. With 500 yen a pop, it
wouldn’t hurt your pocket too much. Both experienced and newbie teachers and students all attend the workshop. The EXPO is apparent on the pipeline and will kick off on 18
th October. Speakers and volunteers are all welcome to come and help out. Just check out their website for updates. Also, you might catch a glimpse of us on
Flight of The Kiwi, the photos taken on that day.
